LG visits slain TV artist Amreena Bhat’s residence, meets slain cop’s family in Soura

Budgam: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday visited the house of TV artist Amreena Bhat, who was shot dead at her residence in Hushru village of Chadoora on last Wednesday.

A top official told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Sinha accompanied by senior officials met Amreena’s family at Hushru in Chadoora area of Budgam district and expressed his condolences to his parents and the family.

Amreena Bhat from Hushroo Chadoora along with her 10-year-old nephew were fired upon by the gunmen, leaving them wounded. However, Ambreena succumbed to her injuries on way to the SMHS hospital.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the house of slain policeman Saifullah Qadri’s family, who was killed near his residence in Soura on Tuesday evening.

A top official told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the LG accompanied by other officials visited the slain Saifullah’s family at Soura, Srinagar and expressed his condolences to his parents and other members of the family.

It is pertinent to mention that militants had fired upon one policeman Saifullah Qadri S/o Mohd Syed Qadri, and his 08-year-old daughter near his residence at Malik Sahib, in Soura (Anchar) area of Srinagar district.

In the incident policeman was declared dead on arrival by doctors at local hospital, while his daughter is being treated. (KNO)
