Baramulla, May 23: Scores of employees appointed under Rehbar-e-Khel, Rehbar-e-Janglat and National Youth Corps schemes staged a candlelight protest outside Deputy Commissioners (DC) Office Baramulla demanding regularization of their services and revocation of Jammu and Kashmir government’s order to re-advertise the posts they are engaged in.

The protesters said that they have knocked doors of every administrator for highlighting their genuine demands, but nobody seems bothered about the regularization of their services and now the order issued by the government has made us anxious.

“We are being paid Rs 2500 per month which is injustice. We demand a hike in salary and regularization of our jobs,” said Syed Ajaz-ul-Haq, President REK.

Pertinently, the government on Monday clarified that it has no plans to disengage the employees working under Rehber-e-Khel, Rehbar-e-Janglat and NYC schemes.
