Gh Rasool Mir assumes charge as Director Horticulture Kashmir

Srinagar: Ghulam Rasool Mir today took over the charge of Director Horticulture Kashmir.

Mir is a JKAS officer of 1999 batch and has worked at various important position including Special Secretary Heath and Medical Education Department.

The new Director was welcomed by the whole staff of the Directorate of Horticulture.

The outgoing Director General, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat briefed him about the general functioning of the Department and appraised him about the various schemes in vogue.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Horticulture thanked the fraternity for the warm welcome and assured that he will work hard for the upliftment of the farming community and hoped that he will get full cooperation of the Horticulture Department for the same.
