Kulgam: The security forces on Sunday claimed to have arrested a militant associate and recovered a pistol, two grenades from his possession in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a militant associate identified as Yamin Yousuf Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat from Gadhama was arrested by security forces along with arms and ammunition.
The recovery include pistol, two grenades and 51 rounds, officials said.
They said the affiliation and involvement of the arrested militant associate is being ascertained—(KNO)
