Srinagar: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has expressed his grief and sorrow over the passing away of Dr. Gazalla Amin, a prominent businesswoman of Kashmir, and former Secretary General of KCC&I.

Dr. Gazalla (59) was a medical doctor by profession and proprietor of ‘Fasiam Agro Farms’. She breathed her last, in a hospital on Saturday night. She was suffering from cancer for the past few years.

In his condolence message, Bukhari prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed his deep sympathies to the bereaved family.

He said, “The sad news about the passing away of Dr. Gazalla came as a shock to me. May Almighty rest her soul in eternal peace, grant her the highest rank of Jannah, and give courage for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with the bereaved family, particularly her husband and her sons.”

Bukhari said that Dr. Gazalla, as an entrepreneur was a role model to the women who will be remembered for her contribution towards Agro farming in the Valley. She quit her professional career in medicine to venture into farming and turned into a successful entrepreneur.

Meanwhile, the Former Cabinet Minister & Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of a prominent woman entrepreneur & Secretary General of (KCC&I) Dr. Gazalla Amin Noor who passed yesternight at a hospital in New Delhi.

In a condolence message issued here, Mir termed the demise as extremely unfortunate while praying for the eternal peace to the departed soul. 

“She was a lady known for her hard work, resoluteness and commitment. Her immense contributions in the field of business and setting up an iconic role model for women shall be remembered for times to come. She has been a beacon of women empowerment whose absence shall be deeply felt,” he observed.

Furthermore, Mir expressed his deep solidarity with the bereaved family members at this time of distress.

“My heartfelt sympathies are with the family of the deceased. May Almighty Allah grant eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance to her family to bear this colossal loss,” he said.
