Srinagar: Nine fresh cases of Covid 19 were reported from Jammu division on Friday while as Kashmir division recorded no new case.
Officials said that nine new Covid 19 cases were reported from Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir thus taking the total number of positive cases to 453975 in the UT.
Eight cases were reported from Jammu district and one from Rajouri district, officials said, adding, no fresh case was reported from rest of the 18 districts of the UT.
They said that out of 453975 positive cases, 55 are active positive while as 449169 have recovered.
“4751 have died due to the infection till date – 2328 from Jammu division and 2423 Kashmir division,” said the officials.
They further said that with 26,285 doses of Covid vaccine administered in the last 24 hours, the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K has reached 2,25,40,271.
