Srinagar: A 17-year old boy drowned in Suknag Nalla at Kawoosa in Budgam district and his body was fished out by the locals.
A police spokesman, in a statement, said that police reliably learnt that a 17 year old boy namely Shabir Ali Mir son of Ali Mohd Mir resident of Gund Hasibhat, has drowned in Suknag Nalla at Kawoosa.
“The dead body was fished out from the stream by the locals and was taken to his native place for last rites. Police Budgam is enquiring into the circumstances which lead to the drowning of the individual,” said the spokesman.
