Registrar Cooperative Societies visits Budgam

Budgam: The Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K, Shafqat Iqbal today visited Budgam to have an assessment of working of different Cooperative Institutions in the district and to review the status of ongoing Construction work of District Cooperative Consumer Store Budgam. 

The Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K visited Gousia Cooperative Educational Institution Panzan Chadoora, where he was informed that the school is working up to the best satisfaction of the General Public, he was also informed that during the academic session 2020-21, a total of 27 Students appeared in class 10th Examination and all the students passed with flying colours with 18 distinctions, while topper got 490 marks out of 500.

The Registrar interacted with the students and was highly impressed with the excellent performance of the students. He assured the management of the institution for every possible support for providing quality education by means of Smart Classrooms.

The Registrar inspected the ongoing construction work of District Cooperative Consumer Store Budgam and asked the Executive Engineer PW (R&B) Budgam to complete work within next three months and it should have all the features of a modern Super Bazar like separate billing counter, racks, barcode billing system, CCTV surveillance, Parking area etc for facilitation and attraction of the customers.

It is pertinent to mention that the Cooperative Super Bazars provide consumer items to the Public on reasonable and discount rates without compromising the quality.

The Registrar also visited Farmers Sale and Service Cooperative Society Ltd. Mirgund Budgam, where he interacted with employees of the Society and enquired about their working condition and directed the concerned management to ensure availability of good quantity fertilizers to the farmers on discount rates.

The Officer directed all the field functionaries to work hard and to reach common masses for providing best services in cooperative spirit at their door steps.

During the visit the Registrar was accompanied by Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies Budgam, Aabida Nabi and other officials of the department.
