Srinagar: “To pay honour and respect to martyr HC Surinder Kumar of Railway Protection Force, who attained martyrdom yesterday in a terror attack outside Railway Station Kakapora area of Pulwama, a wreath laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines Srinagar today,” said a police spokesperson.

“Civil & Police Officers led by DG GRPF Sanjay Chander & IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to the martyr for his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty,” the spokesperson said.

John, SSP Srinagar Rakesh Balwal, SSP Railways Kashmir Harmeet Singh and other officers & officials of Police and Security forces paid rich floral tributes to the martyr.  We pay our rich tributes to the martyr for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty and stand by his family at this crucial juncture,” the spokesperson added.
