Rajouri: A man died while another one got seriously injured in an incident of drowning that took place at Siada Ladoth in Rajouri, an official said.
Local news agency KNO reports that deceased have been identified as Mohammad Noorani son of Mohammad Ayub resident of Shambar Gharat while the injured has been identified as Mohd Iqbal son of Mohd Yaqoob resident of Shambar Gharat.
As per reports, both the men drowned in stream in the village in the morning hours after which locals of the area launched an operation and brought both the men out of the stream but one person couldn’t be revived.
“The injured man is under treatment at GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri and is in serious conditions,” said police official.
