Bandipora: A daily-wage employee of the Power Development Department (PDD) died after he fell down from an electric pole in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday, officials said.
Quoting officials, news agency KNO reported that a daily-wage employee Manzoor Ahmad Lone (30), son of Mohammad Sultan Lone of Garoora Bandipora, was critically injured after he fell down from an electric pole.
He was rushed to Community Health Center Hajin where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the accident while the body of the deceased was handed over to his family for last rites.
