Srinagar: CII J&K organized a virtual training workshop Campus to Corporate “Empowering Youth Through Addressing Their Placement Needs”. 

The Business school, University of Jammu, Central University of Jammu, and other Institutions participated in this session to address the problems being faced by the students in transition from campus to corporate culture. Beni Kenha was the faculty for the workshop.

The Campus to corporate is a training module for the young student’s transition from their campus life to the corporate world. The objective of the workshop was to help the students understand how an average employee can turn into an excellent performer. It highlighted the what the recruiters from the corporate want to select it underlined the importance of people taking initiatives and shouldering responsibilities

The session highlighted the importance of soft skills and attitude of students which are important while getting into a corporate. It was an introductory session which set the expectations for a student to undertake his corporate journey. 

This initiative of the CII is to help the students to know the difference between campus and corporate ecosystem. Also this is an endeavor towards learning corporate transition and  to develop the knowledge and skills required to fit perfectly in the corporate world.
