Tangmarg: Renowned religious scholar of Tangmarg, Syed Mohammad Amin Hamdani, a resident of Chandal Tangmarg, who was also the chairman of Jamia Masjid Chandal, passed away on Monday while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Delhi.

The funeral of the deceased religious scholar was held at Chandal Nargis Bagh.

Meanwhile, various sections of the society expressed grief over the demise of Syed Muhammad Amin Hamdani and offered condolences to the bereaved family.

Abdul Qayyum Wani of Civil Society, Shabir Ahmed Mir of PDP, Farooq Ahmed Shah of National Conference, Nazir Ahmed Magray of Teachers Forum, Mukhtar Ahmed, Mukhtar Ahmed, Educationist, Prof. Abdul Jabbar Gokhami, Ghulam Muhammad Magre of Pensioners Forum, Bazm Adab Gulmarg Mir Afroz Ahmed Traders Association’s Asif Rashid Jan Imam and Khatib of Central Jamia Masjid Tangmarg Maulana Shaukat Ahmed and Tangmarg Working Journalists Association have expressed their grief over the demise of the deceased and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
