Samoon visits Polytechnic College, ITI Budgam

BUDGAM: Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department (SDD), Asgar Hassan Samoon, today visited Government Polytechnic College Budgam and ITI Chrar-i-Shrief.

During his visit to the Polytechnic, he was apprised of functioning of the Institution by the Principal Polytechnic College, Altaf Hussain Shalla.

Dr Samoon reviewed the status of development being executed in the college under Capex. He interacted with students and teaching staff of both the institutions.

The students of the college put forward the demand of hostel and transport facility before the Principal Secretary.

Principal Secretary, on the spot, directed the Principal Polytechnic to prepare DPR for hostel.

At ITI Chrar-i-Sharif, Superintendent of ITI, Bashir Ahmad Beigh informed the Principal Secretary about the functioning of the Institution.

Responding to demand of students, Principal Secretary directed the Superintendent to prepare the DPR for Hostel at ITI Chrar-i-Shrief. He assured that work on the double storied workshop block would start soon for which DPR stands submitted. He said that the work on this will be taken up in the next financial year.
