Indian Army organizing “Amrit Joyti Gulmarg Winter Festival-2022”

Srinagar: Indian Army in collaboration with GDA, J&K Tourism and the Gulmarg Hotel Association is organizing the “Amrit Joyti Gulmarg Winter Festival– 2022” from 04 to 06 March 2022, said PRO (Defence) Srinagar.

“This year’s Festival is aligned with ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations that commemorates 75 Years of our Nation’s Independence,” the PRO said.

“The event kick started today with lightning of ‘IsbandSoz’ by General Offcer Commanding ‘Daggar Division’ followed by performances by renowned local artists to include performances by ‘D Alive Dancer Group’ and‘Umar Rock Band’. The breathtak-ing stunts by team of the highly acclaimed ‘High Altitude Warfare School’ (HAWS) was the show stopper today. The snow cycle race & sledge race were a treat to watch in which competitors left no stone unturned to win the races,” he said.

“There was a huge rush at Gulmarg as locals including students from schools, colleges and NCC cadets turned out in huge numbers along with tourists,” he added.
