GCOE Jammu celebrates National Science Day

JAMMU: IQAC Cell and Bio-Sciences Club of Government College of Education, Jammu organised a One Day Seminar on ‘Sustainable Development and Intellectual Property Rights’ to commemorate National Science Day.

Dr. Namrata Sharma, Professor Department of Botany, University of Jammu, was the Chief Guest, while Dr. Rahul Sharma, HOD, Biotechnology from GCW Gandhi Nagar was the Resource Person.

Convener, Bio- Sciences, Dr. Jyoti Parihar, focused on the theme of this year’s Science Day and how IPR can help in realisation of goals of sustainability by collaborative ventures.

The students of the Bio-Sciences club also gave presentations on various aspects of IPR.
