Expressing his pleasure on winning the 4th honour in succession, MD & CEO Baldev Prakash attributed the reception of consecutive awards to persistent and dedicated efforts put in by the staff besides uninterrupted Government support for systematic financial empowerment of the people especially youth across the operational geography of the Bank.

He said, “The award will go a long way in boosting the motivation of our staff, which is the key factor in determining the success of every organisational undertaking, to further the mission of financial empowerment through effective and efficient interventions.”

“However, while providing satisfaction to all of us, such recognition for hard-work from prestigious platforms also raises expectations of all our stakeholders. And with full faith in your capacities, I hope together in future, we will excel further and keep providing our stakeholders occasions to cheer and feel proud of this premier financial institution,” he added.

Notably, the bank contributed around 50 pc to the total achievement under PMEGP Scheme in the entire north India, which ranked first among all the regions in the implementation of the scheme. Pertinent to mention, the Bank recently bagged the ‘Best Digital Financial Inclusion Initiatives’ Award, second position in ‘Best IT Risk & Cyber Security Initiatives’ at Indian Bank’s Association’s 17th Annual Banking Technology Conference and Awards: 2020-21 and 4th Position in Khadi India Awards from Ministry of MSME (GoI) for PMEGP implementation in the country.
