GHS Sangri Top Baramulla records zero pass percentage

Baramulla: A day after Government High School Sangri Top Baramulla recorded zero pass percentage in the annual regular 10th class examination, parents and locals staged protest against the staff and educational authorities demanding immediate action against the teachers.

According to protesters, GHS Sangri Top has 12 teachers for 95 students and only four students had appeared in the class 10th examinations but none among them passed.

The protesting locals demanded stern action against the teachers and appealed CEO Baramulla for his personal intervention besides Director School Education Kashmir must reshuffle the staff.

When contacted Chief Education Officer Baramulla (CEO), G. M Lone, said that he has constituted a committee to look into the matter and stern action against the erring officials will follow after the committee submits its report.
