Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) general secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura has resigned from his post in the party as a member of political affairs committee.

“I do hereby resign from the post of general secretary of the party and as member of the political affairs committee today because of my personal engagements. However i will continue to work as basic member of the party,” he said, in a communiqué to PDP president Mehbooba Mufti.
