J&K reports 15 deaths, 2550 fresh Covid cases

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 15 Covid-19 related deaths while as 2550 tested positive for the coronavirus taking the tally of total positive cases in the UT to 435425.

Officials said that while 974 people from Jammu division and 1576 from Kashmir division tested positive on Monday, 10 infection related deaths were reported from Jammu and five from Kashmir division.

They said that the total number of confirmed Mucormycosisremained 51 across J&K as no new case was reported today.

The officials further said that in last 24 hours, 32,645doses of Covid vaccine were administered bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,04,68,109.

They said that out of 435425 positive cases, 36372are active positive (9579in Jammu division and 26793in Kashmir division) while as 394379 have recovered till date.

They further said that the UT has reported 4674 Covid related deaths – 2285 from Jammu division and 2389 from Kashmir division.

Jammu today reported the maximum number of positive cases (500) followed by Srinagar (391).

Baramulla reported 210 cases, Budgam 172 cases, Pulwama 84 cases, Kupwara 225cases, Anantnag 138cases, Bandipora 171cases, Ganderbal 18 cases, Kulgam 140 cases and Shopian reported 27 fresh cases today, officials said.

They said that Reasi reported 26 cases, Udhampur 120 cases, Rajouri 53 cases, Doda 90 cases, Kathua 11 cases, Samba 14 cases, Poonch 21 cases, Kishtwar 107 cases while as Ramban reported 32 fresh cases today.
