Jahangeer Akhoon takes over as DIO Baramulla

BARAMULLA: Jahangeer Akhoon today assumed the charge of District Information Officer Baramulla.

The 2012 batch KAS Officer has already experienced the department as District Information Officer Bandipora and has also worked as BDO, CDPO and on other posts.

After his joining, the District Information Officer convened a meeting and interacted with the officials of District Information office Baramulla. He sought the cooperation from the officials to run the District information office in a better manner.

Moreover, he took stock of the office staff strength and functioning of the district information office. He also listened patiently to various issues put forth by the employees and assured them that their genuine demands will be redressed on priority.
