Srinagar, January 29: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Member of Parliament from Baramulla Muhammad Akbar Lone has expressed deep anguish over the death of two youth in a drowning accident in Baramulla.

Expressing grief over the unfortunate incident, Lone prayed for peace to the departed and strength to the bereaved in their hour of grief and loss. “The news regarding the death of two brothers Nisar Ahmed Malla and Hilal Ahmed Malla, who had drowned after capsizing of their sand-filled boat has saddened me. The poor who used to eke out their humble living from the sand extraction. I share in the grief of the family and pray for forbearance to them. I expect that the district administration will come to the rescue of the bereaved families beleaguered by the unfortunate unfolding. The administration should dole out ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased as well,” he said.

Meanwhile, Party’s North Zone President Javed Ahmed Dar and District President Dr Sajad Shafi Uri have also expressed deepest sympathies and condolences with the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed. They also implored district administration to reach out to the bereaved families with appropriate ex-gratia.
