Srinagar: President, Apni Party, Altaf Bukhari has condoled the demise of a prominent politician from Pirpanjal Ex-MLC Poonch, Yashpal Sharma Ji.

Altaf Bukhari described the deceased as a pious and kind hearted person who was endowed with a generous and hospitable nature.

He expressed sympathy with the family members of the deceased politician.

“I am shocked at the demise of Yashpal Ji. He was a down to earth and popular leader from Poonch,” he said remembering his former colleague.

He said the deceased politician was a noble soul who worked for the social and economic upliftment of the people in general and the marginalized section of society in particular in Poonch district.

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister Choudhary Zulfikar Ali has expressed shock and profound grief over the demise of prominent politician from Poonch, Ex-MLC Yashpal Sharma.

In his condolence message, he said that the people have lost a noble politician who worked for them and he was popular for his work among the people in Poonch district for a long time.

“His struggle as a politician for the acknowledgement of his people is an example for the people to follow his footstep. He was a simple and sober person despite being a politician of such a level,” he said and remembered his association with him.

He expressed his heartfelt condolences and prayed for the peace of the departed soul and extended solidarity with the bereaved family members in this time of gloom.

“I also pray for eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance to the bereaved family members,” he said.
