Authorities fail to provide basic amenities in Jammu Rural: Dr Rohit Gupta

JAMMU: Apni Party Provincial Secretary Dr Rohit Gupta today expressed concern over the poor basic amenities in Bhalwal Block of Jammu Rural.

Addressing a joining programme at Seri Pandita area of Block Bhalwal in which President of Modi Army, Bhuminder Singh alongwith his supporters joined Apni Party; Dr Rohit Gupta welcomed the newcomers into the Party.

Gupta was accompanied by Party leaders Pawan Gupta, Anil Manhas and others.

He said that the people in Jammu rural lack basic amenities like roads, electricity and clean drinking water.

“The unscheduled power cuts have caused inconvenience to the people especially during the harsh weather conditions,” he added.

He said that the roads are in shabby condition in rural Jammu as the authorities are not able to develop the rural belt.

There is no accountability of the officials when they fail to perform on the ground and put the people to harassment, he said.

He also expressed concern over the bureaucratic attitude of the officials and demanded that assembly elections should be held as early as possible.

He said that the Govt should restore Statehood before holding elections in J&K.

Prominent among those who joined Apni Party include Raj Kumar, Sanjeet Singh, Lovely Singh, Parveen Kumar, Sukhdev Kumar, Sunil Kerni, Sachin Kumar, Charan Singh, Rajesh Singh and others.
