VC JK KVIB holds meeting with female employees

JAMMU: Vice Chairperson, J&K Khadi and Villages Industries Board (KVIB), Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, today chaired a meeting of female employees of J&K KVIB, Jammu.

The meeting was attended by Masroor Ahmad Shah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, KVIB, Tilak Raj, Divisional Officer Jammu and female employees of Jammu division.

For the first time, Local Compliant/Grievance committee has been constituted at UT level under Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace (prevention, prohibition and redressal) Act, 2013 to redress the grievances of female employees within 24 hours of receipt of complaint positively.

During the meeting, female employees raised some issues before the Vice Chairperson seeking an early redressal of the same.

VC assured the employees that all their genuine demands will be disposed of within shortest possible time.
