Tangmarg: “Kashmir Adventure Tourism”, a first-of-its-kind store to sell winter adventure gear and rescue equipment, has been opened at Chandilora Tangmarg.

Speaking on the occasion, Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Director, Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir said: “The tourists visiting Gulmarg would find it hard to arrange winter adventure gear and rescue equipment for participating in ski and other related sports activities but now they would be to buy such equipment easily at affordable prices here at Kashmir Adventure Tourism store.”

“I congratulate the owner of the store for opening a much-needed store for the convenience of local winter sportspersons and tourists,” he added.

Mehmood Lone, a local ski trainer, said that it comes as a great relief for the winter sportspersons of Kashmir and other places of the country that a winter adventure equipment selling store has been opened by Murtaza Dar the within the close proximity of a world-famous tourist destination Gulmarg. “Earlier, we had to order even a screw from a foreign country but now we hope that the Kashmir Adventure Tourism store will solve that problem for us by making all the adventure tourism-related equipment available,” Lone added.
