Kulgam: An encounter broke out between security forces and militants at Okey village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam on Tuesday morning, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an encounter started between security forces and militants at Okay area of Kulgam.
He said that the militants were repeatedly asked to surrender, which they turned down and fired upon forces, triggering an encounter.
As per the sources two militants are believed to be trapped in the area—(KNO)
