Kupwara: Two teenage boys died after they fell into a water storage tank in Dardpora Kralpora in frontier Kupwara district on Sunday.
Locals told ‘Kashmir Images’ that the two youth fell into the tank and drowned to death while trying to retrieve a cricket ball from it.
They were identified as Amir Mohuiddin Khawaja, son of Ghulam Mohuiddin Khawaja, and Faheem Iqbal Khawaja, son of Mohammad Iqbal Khawaja, residents of Maidanpati Dardpora Kralpora (B).
An official said bodies were retrieved from the track and handed over to the families for last rites.
