Qazigund: The body of a 65-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances in Ladijan-Nussu area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening.
An official told KNO that a male body was spotted in the paddy field by some passersby. Subsequently, the police were informed which reached the spot and took the corpse into possession.
The body was identified as of one Ghulam Muhammad Ganie (65), son of Ghulam Qadir Ganie of Nussu Qazigund.
“He has a head injury. Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of death,” official said
