Dir RDD Kmr reviews progress of 14th FCA, Peoples Plan Campaign, Panchayat Awards

SRINAGAR: The Director, Rural Development, Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar, Friday reviewed the progress of 14th FCA, Peoples Plan Campaign (GPDP), Panchayat Awards, progress under Bharat Net Service under ‘Good Governance’ initiative as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, campaign.

The meeting was informed that 40218 numbers of activities were taken up under 14th FCA against which 26487 were completed. An amount of Rs. 482.701 lakh were also spent.

The Director stressed upon the officers to ensure timely completion of works along-with geo-tagging of assets in a time bound manner. It was also directed that District Panchayat Officers shall personally monitor the progress under Peoples Plan Campaign (GPDP), freezing of nominations for Panchayat Awards and also ensure Block/District level verification to be completed by 26th and 28th December 2021 respectively.

Under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav it was stressed upon the officers to furnish/upload weekly activities on the designated web portal. It was also enjoined upon the DPOs to conduct weekly Good Governance programmes at Panchayat and Block Levels so as to redress the grievances on the spot wherever possible.

The meeting was attended by all District Panchayat Officers of Kashmir Division through virtual mode from their respective District headquarters.
