Dr. Hina reviews implementation of PMEGP, JKREGP, SFURTI clusters in Kmr Div

SRINAGAR: Vice Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB), Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, today chaired a meeting to review implementation of PMEGP, JKREGP and SFURTI clusters in Kashmir division.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Executive Officer KVIB, Kashmir division, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, KVIB Direction office Srinagar and district officers of the division.

It was informed in the meeting that 15175 applications have been received and a margin money of Rs 12002.66 lakh has been disbursed among the beneficiaries under PMEGP scheme. Besides, 1393 application have been received and a margin money to the tune of Rs 1121.96 lakh has been disbursed under JKREGP.

She stressed upon the district officers to persuade bankers to clear all the pending applications before sponsoring fresh cases in their respective banks. She exhorted upon the officers to keep close liaison with beneficiaries and provide them handholding support till establishment of their income generating units. She also asked them to strictly follow PMEGP/JKREGP guidelines while processing the fresh applications.

VC further impressed the implementing agencies to complete the SFURTI clusters by end of February 2022 to provide the Common facility Centre facilities to artisans.
