BARAMULLA: The District Development Council Chairperson Baramulla, Safeena Beigh today visited several areas of the district to take stock of various issues and problems being faced by the people.
During the visit to various areas including Wulraman, Pachahar, Masjidangan and other adjoining areas, people raised issue of drinking water pipeline catering to the whole area that got damaged due to upgradation of roads in the area, and people of the area were facing lots of inconvenience due to shortage of drinking water.
On the prompt intervention of DDC Chairperson, the damaged pipelines were restored thereby providing water supply to the whole area.
The people of the said area heaved a sigh of relief.
On the occasion, the DDC Chairperson stressed upon the concerned officers to redress the issues and problems of the people in a time bound manner.
