Srinagar: A driver died in a road accident at Shatani Nallah near Jawahar tunnel, officials said on Wednesday.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a tanker bearing registration number JK14A/9786 was on way to Srinagar from Jammu in the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday when it fell down into a deep gorge at Shatani Nallah.
The driver of the vehicle identified as Isser Dass (55) died on the spot.
