Fake SIM Card racket busted in Baramulla, three persons arrested: Police

Srinagar, November 15:(GNS) Police on Monday claimed to have busted a fake SIM card racket by arresting three accused in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

In a statement police spokesman  said that police Baramulla busted a fake SIM card racket who were issuing fake SIM card after managing forged documents for issuance of SIM card.

The statement further stated that three accused persons namely Owais Farooq Waza son of Farooq Ahmad Waza resident of Mohalla Jamia Baramulla, Suhail Aziz Mir son of Ab Aziz resident Suhail Colony Baramulla and Javid Ahmad Kanjwal son of Ab Ahad resident of Jalal Sahib Baramulla were arrested in the instant case and some incriminating material which includes mobile phones along with SIM cards, electronic gadgets and documents have been recovered from their possession, they said.

Case under sections of UA (P) Act and IPC stands registered against them in Police Station Baramulla and investigation set in motion, reads the statement.(GNS)
