J&K reports 151 fresh COVID-19 cases, no related death

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 151 new positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), while no virus-related was reported.

Of the fresh cases, officials said 135 were detected in Kashmir and 16 from Jammu division, taking the total number of positive cases detected so far in Jammu and Kashmir to 3,32,911.

Officials also said 69 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals, including 53 from Kashmir and 16 from Jammu division in the last 24 hours.

The daily media bulletin on COVID-19 informed that no new case of mucormycosis (black fungus) was reported today.

On vaccination, the bulletin informed that 81,729 doses of COVID vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K so far to 1,51,09,405.

According to the bulletin, out of 3,32,911 positive cases recorded cumulatively so far across J&K, currently there are 1,091 active positive cases, including 969 in Kashmir and 123 in Jammu division, while as 3,27,380 persons have recovered and 4,440 have died —   2,263 in Kashmir division and 2,177 in Jammu division.
