“I wholeheartedly welcome Adv. Azad Parvaz along with his associates joined the Peoples Conference. Today is a happy occasion for me personally because our relations with the Parvaz family goes back a long way. His father Parvaz sahib, who is a renowned professor at the Aligarh University, was a close companion of Lone sahib. They have struggled together while establishing the Peoples Conference in its early years.  We want to groom the youngsters to play a pivotal role and contribute to the politics and welfare of J&K in the coming decades. I am certain that Azad sahib will play a critical role in the party, especially the youth wing in the times to come,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Adv Azad Parvaz said that the leadership capacity and vision of PC President Sajad Gani Lone inspired him to join the Peoples Conference.

“We have a relationship with this family and party for a very long time now. This is the party of our forefathers, who passionately struggled and worked tirelessly to establish it 43 years ago. However, today I have decided to formally join the Peoples Conference because I genuinely believe that Sajad sahib is the only leader who has the capability to take us out of the current impasse. Leadership in today’s context is all about navigating the people of Kashmir through these challenging times. I am convinced that Sajad sahib has the leadership capacity to steer J&K and its people out of these troubled waters,” he added.
