Jammu: Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh Thursday took over the charge of the General Officer in Commanding White Knight Corps.
Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, YSM, VSM took over the charge of GoC White Knight Corps, also referred as 16 Corps, from Lt Gen Suchindra Kumar.
The White Knight Corps of Army is regarded as a sensitive security corps of Army as Line of Control from Akhnoor to Poonch falls under its area of operation whereas hinterland security of entire Jammu province is also it’s area of jurisdiction.
The White Knight Corps is a part of Army’s Northern Core. (KNO)
