Srinagar: Today on the Friday following Eid-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), thousands of devotees converged at the Kashmir’s revered shrine of Dargah Hazratbal for prayers.
Congregational prayers were also held at various other shrines and across the Valley while the main gathering was at Dargah Hazratbal shrine.
The special arrangements were made today in wake of the Covid-19 with Waqf officials informing that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were followed in letter and spirit.
However, the Srinagar’s Jama Masjid, which usually witnesses a huge gathering on such occasions, continued to remain closed.
