International flights to take off from Sgr airport today

Srinagar: Srinagar Airport is set to begin international flights, connecting the city directly with the rest of the world from October 23.

Director Srinagar Airport, Kuldeep Singh said that the first flight from Srinagar Airport will take off for Sharjah on Saturday.

He said that on 23rd October the first flight will depart for Sharjah at 18:20 hours. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, one flight from Srinagar will take off for Sharjah, however on the remaining days there will be only domestic flights.
