Anantnag: A residential house and four shops were gutted in a fire at Krad area of Uttersoo in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Friday.
An official told GNS that a massive fire broke out during the midnight in the shops/house of one Ghulam Nabi Itoo son Mohammad Akbar Itoo at Krad Uttersoo Anantnag.
Later on locals immediately rushed to the spot and with the help of fire tenders, doused off the flames.
In this incident, one story house and four shops were damaged. However, there was no loss of life or injury reported, he said.
The cause of fire was not known immediately and is being ascertained, the official added.(GNS)
