Anantnag: An elderly woman died after she was hit by a truck in K P road area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday morning.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an accident took place at around 09:30 am when a truck (JK04A- 6858) passing through near Car Plaza K P Road hit the woman identified as Haseena Begum, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Gareeb of Nai Basti.
“The woman died on the spot,” sources said, adding that the body of the woman was shifted to a hospital for completion of medico-legal formalities.
A case has been registered while further investigation is going on, they added—(KNO)
