Scores of INC, JKAP youth leaders join NC in Jammu: Party Spokesperson

Jammu: Scores of youth leaders affiliated with INC and Apni Party joined the National Conference here at the residence of the Party president Dr. Farooq Abdullah.

Among others YNC provincial President Jammu Ajaz Jan, Youth leader Gaurav Kapoor, Tejender Singh, Reyaz Malik, Sahil Kerni were also present on the occasion, according to the NC spokesperson.

Those who joined the NC fold on the occasion include: Ishmeet Singh, Vipin Gupta, Shahnawaz Ahmed, Yashpal Singh, Hardev Singh Jamwal, Amit Raina, Abhinav Gupta, Apporva Gupta, Praveen, Karan Preet Singh, Dil Preeet Singh, Ajooot Singh, Pritpal Singh, Vikas Bakshi, Arun Sharma, Abisheek Jamwal, Shubum Kumar, Abisheek Gupta, Gaurav Jamwal, Raman Singh, Wiky, Harsh Bindra, Sumit, Sarthak, Shivum, Ankur Sharma, Sardar Battu, Nitin Mahajan, Balbir Chib, Mithun Sharma, Maneesh, Rohit, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Devum Gupta, Mashal Singh.

Dr Farooq accorded a warm welcome to the new entrants into the party fold and hoped that the joining will help strengthen the party at the grassroots level. Interacting with the new entrants, the party president said that the expectations with the youth are very high since they can bring a lot of energy with them. The youth of JK, he maintained, is no less dynamic than their counterparts in the rest of the country.

“NC has always kept its doors open for the young, as they can prove extremely effective in framing policies, particularly for themselves concerning their contemporary issues. Having educated youth from Jammu, Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri, and Poonch and likewise from Kashmir and ladakh in our fold will ensure a greater sense of inclusiveness in our NC family. The participation, I impress upon you, should not stop with you but it should snowball,” he said.

You have to encourage more and more youth to use the NC platform to have their aspirations fulfilled.  I hope your stint in public life will act as an example for other educated youth to join politics and NC in particular. NC identifies itself with every sect, caste, creed, religion, region of J&K. ours is an inclusive ideology with deep-rooted commitment towards secularism, socialism, participatory democracy, and welfare,” he added.

Meanwhile, Party’s Provincial Youth President, Jammu Aijaz Jan has also passed on good wishes to the new entrants.
