Tangmarg youth awarded ‘Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar’ in Kashmiri Poetry

Srinagar: Muzaffar Ahmad Parray, a resident of Kralpora Tehsil Kunzer District Baramulla, has been awarded the prestigious “Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar” in Kashmiri Poetry.

Muzaffar was presented with the award at Banglore last evening. While his name was announced in March this year for the prestigious award.

Despite the odds, Masroor Muzaffar continued with his passion to achieve milestones in Kashmiri Poetry. He has published a book titled “Wavech Baavath” that contains his poetry collection.

Masroor has been pursuing his passion of poetry since childhood. He completed his masters in Kashmiri from the University of Kashmir and is currently perceiving PhD in Kashmiri from Aligarh Muslim University.
