Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported 82 COVID-19 cases and zero daily deaths due to the disease on Saturday, taking the union territory’s cumulative infection tally to 3,30,967.

Of the fresh cases, 67 were from Kashmir and 15 were from the Jammu division, officials said.

They said Srinagar district recorded the highest number of 37 new cases, followed Baramulla with 12.

Moreover, 122 COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 72 from Kashmir and 50 from Jammu division in the last 24 hours, officials said

There were 48 confirmed cases of mucormycosis (black fungus) in the union territory at present.

On vaccination, the daily media bulletin informed that 84,968 doses of COVID vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours across the UT bringing the cumulative number of doses administered here to 13,650,041.

According to the bulletin, out of 3,30,967 positive cases recorded cumulatively so far, currently there are 855 active positive cases across the UT, including 696 in Kashmir and 159 in Jammu division, while as 3,25,686 persons have recovered and 4,426 have died – 2,252 in Kashmir and 2,174 in Jammu division.
