Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President, Omar Abdullah, Friday greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Maha Navami and Dussehra.

In their message, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah stated that both the festivities are emblematic of Jammu and Kashmir’s rich cultural ethos. The festivities, the duo maintained, celebrate the triumph of truth over falsehood. Such festivals, they further stated, help in the furtherance of country’s spiritual and cultural inheritance. They prayed that these festivities increase the prospectus of peace and prosperity in the country in general and JK in particular.
