Veteran journalist Qasim Sajad passes away

Anantnag: Veteran journalist and editor-in-chief of weekly ‘Shuhaab’, Qasim Sajad passed away today at his residence after brief illness.

Qasim Sajad was associated with many national as well as state-level associations and organisations.

Qasim Sajad is the father of Majid Jehangir, reporter BBC Hindi.

Several associations including Anantnag Working Journalists Association, Mirza Adabi Sangam, South Kashmir Civil Society, political and religious organizations have expressed grief over his demise.

Kashmir Images also condoles his demise and expresses solidarity with the bereaved family.
