Govt to withheld salary of un-vaccinated employees

Srinagar: The government has decided to withhold salaries of the un-vaccinated employees and a list of such employees has been sought for further action.

According to an order issued I this regard, instructions have been issued to all the Administrative Secretaries for ensuring vaccination of all employees working in their departments in Civil Secretariat, J&K.

A list of those employees along with their name and designation, who are yet to be vaccinated, has been sought.

“In this context, the undersigned is directed to request Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary)/Principal Secretary to the Government/Commissioner/Secretary to the Government/Secretary to the Government, not to draw the salary of un-vaccinated employees working in his/her department besides sharing their details with the General Administration Department for further action,” the order says.

“The matter may be treated as most urgent,” reads the order. (With KNO inputs)
