Srinagar: Veteran national conference leader Nazirudin Ahmad Baba on Sunday joined Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference.
The incumbent was associated with NC for the past more than 45 years.
Baba was affiliated with NC since 1975 and has worked as Block president youth JKNC 1978, Zone Srinagar District President 1983, 1986 worked as Halka secretary, Block joint secretary, Zone Srinagar Zone Secretary.
According to the party spokesman, Baba was welcomed into the party fold by PC Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone, who termed his entry as a major step towards strengthening of the party in Srinagar wherein the party will not only be benefited from his immense experience but will also find an able mentor in him to steer the ship to the shore.
