Srinagar: Besides its regular domestic and national activities, Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir (WGAJK) has decided to hold a 21-day advanced Ski Racing Coaching Camp at Gulmarg for 20 selected junior skiers in Winter 2022 on no loss no gain basis.
“Every participant will have to pay for this specialized camp keeping in view acute financial resources of the Association. The expenses to incur on the project are being worked out by the association. The training will be imparted by a highly trained Manali based Coach, who has participated in Olympics, Asian Games, remained National Champion for many years and has run some SAI approved Coaching Camps,” said WGAJK spokesperson.
“Only those who have done advance ski course, participated in National, preferably won medals, or has participated in any International Championship may apply. The Selection Committee, constituted by the association, shall select the athletes for the proposed camp,” he said.
