Srinagar: The Secretary Education Jammu and Kashmir, Bishwajit Kumar Singh, on Sunday said that the government has decided to give away awards to the ten best teachers’ every year for their outstanding performance.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), B K Singh said that this year they have given away awards to nine best teachers and the process will be continued with proper screening, and ten best teachers will be awarded every year.
“We have also formed committees for the screening processes at district, division and UT level to select the awardees,” Singh said.
“The government has decided to frame district-level committees for the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020,” he said.
Singh said that the teachers will be taken on board to make the education sector of Jammu Kashmir more advanced. “The students of Jammu Kashmir have huge potential; they just need our well wishes and support to excel in their life.”
